CAP-CP Governance and Compliance Study Funded
September 08 2010CAPAN has received funding from the Centre for Security Sciences to undertake a study of governance and compliance alternatives for the Canadian Profile of the Common Alerting Protocol (CAP-CP), to choose a preferred path forward, and to develop a strategic plan for implementing it. The project team includes representatives of Public Safety Canada, Environment Canada, Industry Canada, Natural Resources Canada, Alberta Emergency Management Agency, New Brunswick Emergency Services, University of New Brunswick, University of Alberta, NetAlerts and Allport Group.
